- WHAT WE DO
Planning and controls work that is commercially useful and fit to issue
We build and assure logic-linked programmes in Primavera P6 and MS Project, then support delivery through reporting, dashboards, narrative development and programme assurance.
We work across the full project lifecycle, from tender through to live delivery, recovery and change. The model scales to project need without compromising on programme integrity or reporting quality.
NEC Planning Solutions is building toward structured multi-project partnerships, where governed planning capacity and consistent reporting standards sit inside the client's project environment over a longer-term engagement.
!
Recent outcome: Prepared the tender programme and supporting narrative for a full airport design and construction delivery package. The submission was subsequently successful.
- HOW THE MODEL WORKS
Senior governance. Supported delivery capacity. Consistent standards.
The model combines senior governance with supported delivery capacity. Core planning expertise, structured QA workflows and trusted specialist delivery partners allow us to scale to project need without compromising on what gets issued.
- 01
01
Senior governance on every engagement
Every engagement operates through a defined quality-governed delivery model. Outputs are overseen by a senior planning lead and pass through a structured QA gateway before issue. Clients receive senior oversight and accountable delivery, not a junior planner working unsupported.
- 02
Capacity that scales to project need
02
Supported delivery capacity and specialist partners allow the model to scale across project stages, workloads and delivery types. Support can be remote, hybrid or aligned to planned site touchpoints, depending on the needs of the project, without the overhead of building a full in-house planning function.
- 03
Consistent standards regardless of scale
03
Programme integrity, reporting quality and QA discipline do not reduce as project scope grows. The same check standards, issue controls and delivery methodology apply to a specialist contractor monthly update as to a complex infrastructure tender and live controls programme.
- GOVERNANCE AND QA
What gets checked before anything is issued
Every output passes through a structured QA gateway, giving clients confidence that what they are issuing is controlled, defensible and fit to issue.
âś”
Logic integrity and critical path credibility
Programme logic is checked for completeness, open ends, constraint handling and a defensible critical path before issue.
âś”
Baseline status and data date discipline
Baseline references, data dates and progress rules are confirmed consistent and correctly applied across the update cycle.
âś”
Narrative alignment to programme logic
Narrative documents are checked against the programme. Assumptions, key dates and sequencing rationale must be consistent with the schedule.
âś”
Contract relevance (NEC3, NEC4, JCT, FIDIC)
Format, structure and content are checked against the contract requirements applicable to the engagement: Clause 31/32, CE impact conventions or framework submission standards.
- SECTORS
Project types and sectors we work across
Experience spans infrastructure and civil, utilities, power and renewables, process and chemical, carbon capture, transportation, data centres, water and utilities, food and beverage, and M&E and fit-out, from framework bids to specialist subcontractor live controls.

Leadership and
governance model
Roman leads governance, QA and delivery standards across all engagements. His background spans construction planning, project controls, tender support, programme assurance and change management across contractor environments and complex project delivery. His role is to set methodology, direct delivery standards and maintain output quality, with supported delivery capacity and specialist partners engaged where project scope requires it.

His approach is rooted in one practical principle: a programme that cannot be defended at clarification, used at handover, or relied on for change assessment is not finished work. That standard drives the QA process applied to every output, from a specialist contractor tender programme to a live infrastructure controls package.

Delivery is supported through structured QA workflows, trusted specialist delivery capacity and defined issue controls. Clients access governed planning and reporting support at the scale their project requires, without building a full in-house planning function.
- SUPPORTED DELIVERY CAPACITY
Scaled to project need. Consistent standards throughout.
Clients access director-level governance and accountability on every output, without the overhead of a large consultancy or the risk of an unmanaged freelancer. Where project scope requires it, delivery is supported through a structured network of project controls professionals and specialist partners operating under defined QA governance and issue controls.
