About NEC Planning Solutions
NEC Planning Solutions is a UK-based project planning and controls consultancy. We help contractors and asset owners win work, protect margin, and deliver projects with confidence by building and assuring logic-linked programmes (Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project), implementing disciplined project controls, and producing decision-grade reporting that stands up to commercial scrutiny.
We support complex M&E, infrastructure, energy, renewables, industrial and major fit-out environments: sectors where programme integrity and contract alignment directly influence cost, time and claims exposure.
What we do

We provide practical planning outputs that can be issued to clients, auditors, and commercial teams with confidence. Typical support includes tender programmes and narratives, baseline development, progress updates and reporting packs, critical path and sequencing reviews, look-ahead planning, stakeholder-ready dashboards, and programme assurance that reduces delay and dispute exposure.
Director-led governance, QA-gated delivery
We operate a director-led, quality-governed model. Every engagement has senior accountability for programme strategy, stakeholder communication, and final sign-off. Capacity scales through supervised planners operating under a defined QA gateway, so quality remains consistent as workload increases. Every programme submission and update pack passes a defined QA check (logic, constraints, baselines, data date discipline, and narrative alignment) before issue. Clients receive consultancy-grade outcomes without the overhead of building a permanent in-house planning team.
Roman is an NEC-accredited Project Manager and an APMG-certified Project Planning & Control practitioner. He holds a postgraduate qualification in Project Planning & Control from the University of Aberdeen and has an engineering foundation. Over the past decade he has delivered and governed programmes across contractor environments, supporting milestone completion on multi-million-pound M&E, energy and industrial projects. Roman remains accountable for programme strategy, governance and sign-off on every engagement, ensuring outputs are consistent, auditable and defensible.

To make programme integrity and outcomes instantly auditable, we offer an optional Programme Assurance Passport alongside baselines and reporting cycles. This one-page document summarises schedule integrity checks (logic links, constraints, baseline status, progress cut-off, and data quality) and can include a concise Social Value KPI summary where required for tender evidence and reporting. It provides leadership teams and auditors with a clear, defensible record of both delivery control and evidenced outcomes.
