THE PROJECT
Live delivery reporting and controls on a complex NEC3 gas infrastructure contract
The project was an upgrade of gas M&E and civil infrastructure at a major gas terminal on the north-east coast of Scotland. Our Director was embedded full-time within the contractor team during live delivery, running the monthly Clause 32 reporting cycle with programme acceptance as the primary objective.

The challenge was keeping an accepted programme in place across a complex, multi-discipline delivery environment while integrating progress data, lookaheads, earned value and compensation events into a consistent reporting rhythm that worked for both the contractor and the client.

PROGRESS REPORTING

Rolling lookaheads, a project metrics dashboard and a key deliverables tracker maintained throughout delivery. Timeline visualisation provided senior stakeholders with a clear, consistent view of progress at each reporting stage.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
Earned value analysis
Earned value analysis applied throughout delivery to give management an objective basis for project evaluation and decision-making at each stage.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Compensation event integration
Compensation events integrated into the live programme as they arose, maintaining traceable records and keeping change impacts visible within the monthly reporting cycle.
PROVENANCE NOTE
This project forms part of the prior delivery experience our Director brings to NEC Planning Solutions. It was completed before the consultancy was formed. Project and client details are withheld by agreement.
